The Botox injection session goes like this. The patient is made to sit on a table slightly reclined with the help of a pillow to support the head. The area to be injected is cleansed and an aesthetic gel is often applied. Then each point to be injected is marked, preferably with an eyebrow pencil. The needle of the injection is pierced through the skin, as the face muscles sits closely to the skin, it is not required to be injected deeply. Measured dosages are injected depending on the area and severity to be corrected.

Cost is dependent on various factors like location of the clinic and experience of the doctor. A Botox price treatment may cost somewhere between $200 to $800 on average.

Buyers should be cautioned that bargained, non FDA approved Botox like products could be harmful, as it can raise the chances of infections, complications and poor cosmetic results. Always consult a doctor before making a decision on a procedure.
